We had invited my sister to join us on our upcoming WDW trip, and originally she thought she would not be able to join us. Now she thinks there is a chance she might be able to come by at least briefly. (She works for a major airline, and can fly free standby if there is room available on the flight.) However, because of her work schedule, she isn't likely to be certain until the last minute if she can come.
Her presence would not put us over the occupancy limit on the rooms we have booked. She would not be staying with us the whole trip, probably just a couple of nights max.
Would we have any difficulty going down to the front desk and adding another adult to the room for a couple of nights in the middle of a trip?
Also, we have ADRs for many meals throughout the trip, made 6 months in advance. There is no way I could rebook some of them again, particularly since free dining is going on while we'll be there, and as I mentioned before, we're not likely to know in advance if she'll even be joining us. How likely are places to be able to accommodate an additional person in the party at the last minute? Our ADRs include our baby. Could we offer to just hold the baby so she doesn't take up a space at the table? DS understands this may be an issue, and she is fine with not always eating with us, and just snacking around the World Showcase at the F & W festival. I just wondered if anyone had any experience with a similar situation?
