I have reservations for Le Cellier dinner, and my brother is now coming on our trip with us. I have been trying to find a new res but there has been 0 availability for lunch and dinner. Is it better to try the night of our dinner if they can add him, or is there an easier/better way?

Thanks,

Tony

Tony to be really honest, unless you get him added before hand they will most likely turn him away.
LeCellier is a very small restaurant and is booked all the time. So the chance of him being seated is slim to none.

You can always try, but make sure he has other plans for the meal (CS or another restaurant). And make sure he understands this.

Keep trying to find an adr that suits your party, check the cancellation threads and the online system daily.

Good luck, but don't count on it happening.

I completely agree with the PP. LeCellier is the worst to try to get into.

I just wanted to really stress the point "you can always try" and "have a backup plan". In your situation, I'd definitely try to add him at the podium and see if something can be done to accommodate your party. It may take showing up to the podium when they open for to alert them that you have an extra, but it doesn't hurt to at least try. LeCellier is probably the hardest to do this at, but nothing is impossible.
