Adding someone to a free dining reservation

Hi all,

I booked a stay for Nov/Dec 2017 through Disney UK which at AKL which got me free dining which I then upgraded to the Deluxe plan.

My friend is thinking of coming with me now and I know when you have the dining plan all room occupants have to be on it. I was just wondering if anyone knows if my friend would have to pay the full price for the dining plan or the same price I paid or would the entire reservation have to be rebooked?

The offer I booked under has now ended so it would be rebooked under their current one which does not include free dining but has money off rooms.

If friend is coming into your room, and your room is not at capacity, it's just adding friend, and friend will get free dining, no rebooking required. Friend will have to pay for the added ticket.

Room won't be at capacity with him. Do you know if he would have to pay the full upgrade price or the same price I paid? Or would they remove my upgrade so we were both just on the regular plan?

In general, in the US, he would simply pay the same price you paid when you added him to the reservation. Rules may vary on British offers.

UK get different offers entirely. For US visitors, I don't think any of December was included in the free dining bounceback, and discounts are not announced that far out.

Yes an offer only for the UK I'm afraid. We don't tend to have the same date restrictions on free dining as the US and we can book much further in advance. I've had my reservation for the end of 2017 since March this year.
