Adding room discount

We have a 6 night stay at pop booked in Oct during the dining black out dates. My question is can I just add the discount on the room if it comes out tomorrow or will have to cancel and rebook? I don't think it will save me any money if I have to rebook as I booked it prior to the price increase of tickets and dining. But the 15% sure would be nice. Anyone have experience with this?
