Adding quotes to a post

When I try to "quote" a previous post, I tap on the 'QUOTE' button. The hen I try to add my own reply, it ends up in the quoted box. I have tried to put the cursor at the bottom right side of the box, but that doesn't seem to help. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the assist.

Hi there!

For posting multiple quotes - First click on the "+Quote" on however many quotes you want, then go to the reply box and click on "Insert Quotes" button on the lower left. Then Click on "Quote these messages" in the next window. Start typing after the "QUOTE]" in the reply. That will put your reply below the quotes.

If you are just quoting one post, click on "Reply" in the lower right of that post. And start typing after the reply box opens with the quote in it.

When you do this are you doing these steps:
Quote > Insert Quotes > Quote This Message > begin typing your reply?
