I am booked for the 4/3 promotion, and Im thinking of adding the dining. We check in this Saturday, can I still add the dining plan?? Or is it too late?? thanks

You better call today, you have to add it outside of 72 hours from travel. Have your CC ready to pay as well

yikes! Im at 3 days today.. lol

Can I use the 400$ if gift cards Im getting from the 4/3 deal to put towards the dining plan?

You dont get the giftcards until you check in. The dining plans have to be added outside of 72 hours

Add the dining plan and drop the tickets to a one day base. When you check in, you get your gift cards, and then you upgrade your tickets to multiple days and hopper if you want, and pay with the GC.

since the dining will probably be more expensive than the tickets - REMEMBER you still pay for ALL 7 DAYS - you should not get charged a fee...

My documents indicate that any change that results in a price change to the package will result in a $100 charge. Use the $400 for food and skip the dining.

Does this apply to adding the dining plan? This will suck royally if that's the case. I can't add until Thursday (payday) and didn't think it would result in an extra fee since it's not like we're changing the package, just adding to it (more money for Disney!)

Can anyone confirm if they charge the $100 when you add dining?

Not 100% positive but I heard that changes to a plan that resulted in you spending more money usually do not incur the fee. While they could technically do it, I suppose, they don't since what you are doing is upgrading.

I think if you tried to downgrade your tickets, they would charge you the fee.

Sorry, I guess it's $100 if you cancel, $50 if you change:

Changes to Reservation - For a change made 44 days or less prior to guest arrival that results in a change in the package price, a change fee of $50 per package, plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers, will be charged. Disney reserves the right to restrict changes to any reservation. Such change fees must be paid in addition to any increase in the package price resulting from the change. If air travel has been ticketed, guest will be responsible for any increase in airfare as well as the change fee assessed by the airline.

Maybe depending on who you talk to, they won't charge you the $50. However, since adding dining is changing the package price, technically though they could charge you.

If you make a change and the price goes UP they wont charge the $50 but if its within 14 days from arrival there will be a $10 processing fee.
