Ok thinking of adding more points to my contract...we own at ssr.
what is better to do buy a resale contract or buy through disney direct?? any advice on adding on would be great or experineces??

It depends on your resort preferences and how many points you plan to add. For 50 or less, you'd be better off buying retail through DVC. For more, you should consider both and put your name on the wait list for any broker you care to deal with. If you are adding enough points and really like one specific resort, I'd likely buy there for the home resort priority. That's esp true for BCV, BWV and VWL.

We just bought 25 additional points at SSR. Because we purchased throught DVC, we were able to get the same use year, plus Disney is letting us band those 25 points for next year no matter when you buy them.

Plus we got a great new DVCbag.

Hi,

I have a related question. I'm thinking of buying resale BWV for 50 points. Can I add through DVC 25 pts for BWV? Or can you only add to currently selling properties like SSR?

We're in Cali and it doesn't make sense for me to buy a 150 points when I think we'll go every other year in value season.
