Hi all, we are sailing on the Fantasy in February, our party includes 6 adults, 2 of which are first time cruisers in the same stateroom. I was able to secure a Palo brunch reservation for the 4 adults who have castaway club status, my question is how would we go about adding the other 2 adults to the existing reservation? Their booking window isn’t until Dec 4, and I’m fairly certain the rest of the reservations for Palo brunch will be gone by then. Do we wait until embarkation day and see on board if they can accommodate a change of a party of 4 to a party of 6? Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance!

Yes wait until Embarkation Day. They will have access to the table allocation system then and will be able to see which tables have been allocated to all the bookings. They will be able to switch parties to different tables if there is a table suitable for 6 people instead of 4 people.

I had a similar situation recently at Disneyland Paris. We were a party of 6 people and I made reservations at one of the very popular table service restaurants at 8 months in advance. Then 1 month before the trip, we had someone join us. I rang Disneyland Paris Dining reservations but they couldn't change the booking or add the extra person. They told me to go to the restaurant on the day. On the morning of the dinner reservation I went to the Concierge Desk at the hotel. They were able to check the reservations and saw that a note had been made to add an extra person. Later in the evening when we checked in at the host stand we were brought to a table for 7 people.

They hold some reservations back so there is still a chanve. When you board the ship head to Enchanted Garden on deck 2. You will see a line of people looking to make dining changes. Explain to the CM's what you are looking to do. They will either add the guests, offer you another time or waitlist you

On Dec 4th, try to book for the full party OR try for a reservation for 2 as close to the reservation for 4 as you can get. Keep checking. Then go at embarkation day to have them combined.

It’s actually Enchanted Gardens. Don’t want people being confused

If you're able to get a Palo reservation even within an hour of yours for them, if your cruise reservations are linked for dining they will likely combine them for you automatically even before you board. You can check when you connect to the ship's wifi. If they haven't combined them or if they aren't able to get one at all, go to Enchanted Garden and ask. They can usually accommodate.
