Adding parkhoppers?

We are staying at Pop and currently have 6 day base tickets with our package. I plan on using the $200 gift card I received from getting a Disney Visa to get add parkhoppers to our tickets. Can I just have the parkhopper option added at the resort when I check in, or do I need to do this at one of the parks?

You will have to upgrade at the parks. Won't take more than 5-10 minutes

Our parkhoppers were added at the Concierge at our resort (POFQ).

You can add park hopping at the resort. The only upgrade that cannot be done at the resort is to an annual pass.
