Adding Park Hopper to a Ticket

If you purchase a ticket, can you add the hopper at guest services the same that you are using the ticket? If so, is adding it the same day cost more than purchasing it beforehand?

You can add it day-off. It’ll be the same price.

Just reiterating that park hopping is an all-or-nothing proposition. You’ll need to add it for all the days of your ticket if you decide to add it.

One other thought, if you are not buying them from Disney but from the Frog, you have to do it when you buy the tickets, you can not add it at a discount from them after you buy the tickets (learned that one the hard way).

You can add the Park Hopper option at any time -- before arrival or during your visit. It should cost the same (based on the length of time ket). You will be credited for the value of your ticket as sold online by WDW at the time you bought from the reseller.. So if you bought the ticket for $500 and WDW was selling the same ticket for $550, your value is $550.

It gets more complicated when there has been a price increase since you bought.

You can only add the park hopper option to a ticket if you have at least one day's admission left on it. So if it's your last day and you have no more entries remaining on your ticket, no, you won't be able to add the park hopper at 2 pm.

That's not correct. A ticket can be upgraded before park-close on the day the last entitlement is used.

@luvdisney14 you can add hopper at the time you hop, either when leaving the first park or when arriving at the second park. Stop at the ticket window to do the upgrade.
