Adding or removing someone from reservation when booked w/free dining

I want to book today for August with the Disney Visa free dining promo. Not sure if one person will be able to go until closer to summer. Wondering if anyone knows if I should include them now and remove them if necessary or add them when they know for sure if they can get the time off? Not sure if I can even do that after the promo ends.

I would wait. I think, but things could have changed, that to book free dining, the person must have a ticket associated with them. That means you have to fully include them in a package now.

As long as you aren’t going to exceed room occupancy by adding them later, I’d wait until you know if they can go. ADRs, when it gets to that point, can be booked for an extra person.

I don’t know how refunding works on one person on a package, maybe others do.

You have until 30 days prior to add or remove. It’s the same $200 deposit whether you have 2 people or 4 (or however many fit your room). I would include everyone now and drop one before the PIF date if necessary.
