Adding on while at WDW

We are almost positive that we will be adding on at BLT during our trip next week. I've already spoke to my guide and he is going to show us the models (which we wanted to see in person before buying) and then we will sign our papers.

Will my DD (5) still be able to use the Kids Center or is that only for new members? What about the Ice Cream social and fastpasses? I wouldn't be upset if I didn't get them but it just added to our excitement when we left the center last time!!

We've been able to get the ice cream, free canvas bags, promo DVC pins and fast passes (or small gift cards) each time we added on at the SSR DVC sales center (once in 2006 and once in 2008).

I am sure you will get some goodies - and be able to use the Kids Center there.

We added on at BLT during our March '09 trip. Our DD-9 spent time in the kids center while we toured the rooms. After we completed the paperwork we received fast passes and had ice cream. So, I say your chances are close to 100% to doing these things while you are there.

As long as you do the add on, I am sure you will receive whatever the current freebie may be. If you are a member, however, touring just to get food for thought, then I don't expect you would be given anything other than the ice cream, and cookies.

We are almost 100% that we are going to purchase the add on. We just wanted to talk to our guide a little more and see the models in person. (I did like what I saw from pics online but I'd rather see them in person before making that kind of decision)
