adding on to our current contract

I know I’ve seen the answer to my question before; however, I can’t find it.

We are adding on to our current contract through resale. We waited for a contract with the same UY. The offer has been accepted and is going to ROFR.

I want to make sure (if it passes) it is added to my current contract. I made sure the name and information is the same as our previous account. What else do I need to do?

Just make sure the resale broker knows and mentions that to Disney. That way, it will be added to your current member #.

I did all of the above, and my second contract was not added to my current membership number. I just happened to be calling Disney to see if my points were available when we caught that I had been assigned another membership number and member services was able to get the problem fixed. When I added on another contract, I had the closing agent put our membership number on the paperwork that was sent to Disney, and it was added the right way.

Every time we add a resale contract we contact DVC Administration and give them a heads up.

We just closed last week on our third DVC contract - 100 points @ AKV. It was our first resale purchase. Three days after the sale we notice on the DVC website that our AKV contract was being added to our original contract. Two more days later all of our new AKV points (banked and the 2010 ones) were added to this new contract and we were able to make our first AKV reservation on the 11 month mark.

Thanks to Scot at the TSS everything went perfect and our new AKV contract has been added to our current contracts. Scot made sure he had our name exactly as it's shown on our original DVC contract. And everything went as planned.
