Adding on at VGF

It looks like we're going to add on at VGF, probably 125 points.

We are going on a DCL cruise in November.

Am I right in understanding that there is no reason to wait until the cruise to add on any more?

Can you still have them secure you a moderately short term (maybe 5 or 6 months out) reservation with your new points as part of the deal when buying the points?

Do we have any idea how quickly VGF is selling, and if they are in any danger of selling out this year?

No incentives yet for VGF.

Rumor of possible price increase in September.

Your Guide should be able to help you with a reservation but the longer you wait the less of a chance of getting something. VGF is a very small resort.

It will not sell out this year.

I personally was unable to get my guide to get 1 night pulled out the the cash rooms for a night that was unavailable for points. Maybe my guide just did not like me...he asked if he could help me with reservations, but never any "special" treats...and I only asked for 1 night.

Hmm, if we buy VGF points, we'd really like to use them over either spring break or the first week of summer (March or May). I think we're going to Aulani for one and WDW for the other, which is why we need more points. If we can't get a reservation at VGF, it sort of takes away the reason we need more points soonish.

Guess I'll talk to my guide and see if he can make it happen. 7 month booking window for the March trip opens shortly, so I assume it would be easy to get now...
