Adding More Points Before Closing

We bought in AKV at the minimum 160 points. We are seriously considering purchasing more. My questions are:

Is there a minimum increment I have to purchase? Can I purchase 10 points, 20 points, 33 points, etc?

Will it be a pain to add these points before closing or should I wait until after closing (estimated date of November 9th)?

Can I just add the extra points to my financing or can I pay for the extra points outright and leave the amount I am financing as is?

I would call DVC myself and ask but they are closed.
On a side note: I am really disappointed in the hours of Member's Services.
They are only open a few hours on Saturday and not until after noon??!!

Add them now. Then you get the incentive on the whole purchase. It isn't hard to add them. Call you sales person and he can just update the contract. You can add any # of points and you can keep ypur financing the same and just pay cash or credit card for the extra pts.

If and when you go to resell your contract (I know you aren't thinking about that now), smaller contracts usually are easier to sell. The smallest contract you can buy is 25 points, but you can also buy 26 or 27 or 28 if you like.
