Adding Membership on Disneyland App - FYI

FYI:

For those of you struggling to add your DVC membership to the Disneyland website and app, and getting the following error:

"The user name or password you entered is not valid for a Disney Vacation Club account".

I spoke with MS again yesterday, and got the epected "We are aware of it and are still trying to fix it. Please try again in another week or so".

I went through this for months and multiple cast members and online support. Apparently:
- Even though it wasn't showing, my profile on their side showed I'm DVC
- The only reason I really needed it was to get an AP discount on mobile orders, and they aren't giving AP discounts to mobile orders, I'd need to show my blue card when i order anyway.

The whole thing was a frustrating waste of time.

I wouldn’t bother trying again in a week or so. I asked at the DVC office beginning of August about this too and it’s a known issue but obviously it’s still not fixed. Luckily for me my Dream MK discount for dining is better than DVC so I’ve been using that instead.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on it. Or in a month either. I've been holding off on my Dream Key, but may end up caving and grabbing one sooner rather than later.

I tried adding my DVC membership about two weeks ago in the Disneyland app and got the same error.
However, today I was curious and brought up mobile ordering at Alien Pizza Planet. When I got to the review screen, my 10% discount for DVC is showing. Just in case, I also tried doing a mobile order for Flo's and the discount definitely showed again.
So even though it said it didn't work... it somehow did?

Might be worth giving it a try.

Just out of curiosity is your dvc also linked to your wdw app too? When I mobile ordered something on Friday only my MK discount showed but I’ll be sure to check again later this week when I go again.

I just tried a mobile order for Tangaroa Terrace at DLH, and had the DVC discount at checkout. Figured I'd try it first in case no park reservation could trigger something (since I'm sitting at home).

Tried one at Pizza Planet and the 10% discount showed up too!

So, weird answer because yes, but only our resale contract is so the discount won't show up on mobile ordering for WDW. We just bought direct in July and so I'm not even 100% sure when my DVC actually linked to my Disneyland app. I just tried doing a mock mobile order for WDW and it won't give me the discount, haha.

So weird!
