Adding kids to my Orbitz res and getting frustrated!

I'm on hold with Orbitz trying to convince the representative that they shouldn't charge me extra to add my 2 kids to my online reservation I made this morning!! She quoted me a new price that was over $100 more expensive than I paid this morning. Do they have to cancel your existing reservation and rebook you with the kids? Should I hang up and try for someone else if she says no? Ack!!
 
Phew, crisis averted! I was polite but pretty insistent that she didn't need to do what she was suggesting (cancel existing reservation and rebook adding my boys for a larger price than I paid this morning). She finally called their wholesale department and they confirmed what I was telling her and she was able to add the boys. About 5 seconds later they appeared on my reservation on My Disney Experience. There was no way I was going to lose out on my BC reservation after all the planning I've been doing and with rooms going so fast!! Thanks again to everyone on these boards - without you all I would have been stuck paying a bunch more:thanks:

This site is awesome. I wasted so much time trying to convince someone on the sales chat with Orbitz that I could do this. He kept "asking" & coming back & saying no. I ended up booking, knowing I could cancel, went back to chat in the AM and the customer service person I got on chat knew exactly what to do. She immediately called the hotel & added the kids, no problem.
