Adding Hopper to YES tickets?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but seeing as I only knew about the YES program from the Budget Board, I picked here.

We've had our YES tickets for months, and our trip is in June. I am really, really kicking myself for not getting the Hopper option.

Is it worth a call to WDW to see if they will upgrade to a Hopper, or am I truly stuck with what I have (don't get me wrong - I am still THRILLEd with the deal we got, even if we aren't hopping!)? Looking for any been-there-done-that advice.. ..

A YES ticket cannot be modified or upgraded in any way.

The Automated Ticketing System will not allow it. When you push the key for Upgrade, scan and select the ticket, instead of the normal menu showing there will be a "Not Upgradable" message show up.

Contact the program. I purchased YES tickets several weeks ago through the new email voucher system and they allowed me to cancel my order for park hopper tickets to allow me to purchase the premium tickets with Water parks and more. If you got the tickets via mail contact them and see if they will allow a change. It can't hurt to ask!

You have to call YES office & have all your info at hand (confirmation # etc); it has been reported that they have allowed options to be added but you must do this with YES group before your trip as it cannot be done when you arrive at WDW.

THank you all for the info - I will call the YES office tomorrow and check with them. We did have the tickets sent in the mail to us, so we'll see what they will do. It would make it easier to have Hoppers, but we'll be okay without too. We're just piggybacking on DH's Orando convention, and the kids and I will be doing some parks by ourselves certain days. But we'd like to be able to hop over to a different park to catch some nighttime activities (we haven't seen Fantasmic yet and don't want to miss it this time, but it's offered on convention days, which doesn't work with our schedule!).

We'll give it a try!
