Adding hopper after arrival

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the base ticket and then add the hopper option after you arrive? If so, is it inconvenient? The difference for our family of four for 7-days is $128, but if we have regrets once we get there, it'd be great to add that option.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, it is possible to do. You can have it done at Guest Relations at any of the parks or in DtD.

Yes, I added a "hopper" option to my ticket after arrival in October (I had mistakenly forgotten to add it when I ordered my ticket online). Very easy to add after arrival; just go to Guest Relations on your first day.

I would definitely recommend adding the hopper option. Gives you much greater flexibility (especially on days where you're going to a park that might not take you all day to see, like Animal Kingdom, which closes at 5:00 most days). That way, you could go to another park in the evening (like Epcot, which is often open the latest.

We're hoping to get a read on ds's(7) and dd's(6) stamina after the first two days. Then we can add it if we feel they're bonafide hoppers. I'm aware that we'll have to pay for the full 7-day hopper add-on even though only five days remain.

Thanks for your good advice.

We added options to our tickets last month. I did it at MK in City Hall. It took about 3 minutes, very easy to do.

No need to go to a park or DTD to do it. If you are staying at a Disney resort, this can be handled by the Concierge Desk in the lobby.

You may add the park hopper option once you have arrived at any park, DTD, or even Guest services.

Hey Ralphie;

I booked thru disney and received parkhopper free as i booked MYW & dining. Gives me parkhopper and water parks for free!
It saved me about $550.00 U.S. You need the promo number tho & I forget what it is. If this works for you ask 'round and I'm sure someone has it if it is still offered.

If you're talking about the promotion I think you're talking about - that promotion ended about a month ago. Packages had to be booked by 12/21 I think?

Just wanted to add, Hopping can be added to MYW tickets within 14 Days of First Use.

We made the mistake of not adding hopping to a couple of our No Ex. passes in June, and were not allowed to add hopping on our trip last month, because we used 1 day in June. That's a small detail, that is often omitted from the sales literature. Hope it helps someone else.
