Adding guest(s) at Check-in after booking through 3rd party, within room capacity

So...in my excitement of finding a great deal through hotwire for a AoA , I didn't pay attention to the number of guests and it defaulted to two. I spent 2 days going back and forth with Disney, Disney wholesale, and hotwire and there appears to be no way to add my 6 and 8 year old to the reservation for a TOTAL of 4 people in a Little Mermaid room. Thankfully wholesale did "flag" my reservation to make sure we had 2 beds and not a King. Will they allow me to add my 2 little girls once we check-in to the resort? We have already given up on trying to get them on the magical express from the airport (husband will be taking it with all the luggage while the rest of us uber over) , but would like to get them on the reservation so they can at least take it back. Sounds like booking through Disney this would be a non-issue...but what about booking through 3rd party? Disney has already basically said they can do NOTHING about adding them due to contract they have with hotwire- lady at Disney wholesale said they use to do it all the time but no longer can.

I believe all the Priceline, Hotwire, etc deals are two guests only. The CM was correct in that they used to be able to change it to more guests but it would take a few weeks to get the info from the third party reseller with the Disney confirmation number.

you should be able to add them once you check in.

I’ve never heard anyone say they haven’t been able to add guests at check-in as long as they’re within occupancy limits, so I think you should be fine.

Third parties like Hotwire do own reservations that they make, but control reverts to the guest at check-in.
