Adding Ground Transportation via the Website - working for anyone?

I've got a cruise in January 2024 planned and I'm trying to add ground transportation via the DCL website. Every time I try to do it, via different computers and browsers, i get a "We're working on it" message. Is this working for anyone else? I hate to have to call in just to add this....

I'll answer my own question as it might help others. I chatted with a service agent. Apparently the 2024 "transportation" plan isn't live yet. So they can't add ground transportation. that seems goofy (pun intended) and it's certainly not handled well on the website. But that's what i was told. "Try again in a few weeks"....

Usually you have to call to add DCL transfers if not added at initial booking. Plus if you used a TA they will have to do it for you.

Hi thanks all. I’ll call Monday. Its odd that the have a link on the website to add ground transportation, but it doesn’t work. They should remove it.

We're experiencing the same. We cruise end of January and my sister has called a couple times. The last time my sister called she was told it's not available to book yet ( I honestly can't remember if they told her it was something with a contract/calender). The agent did state they are hoping it's up soon but they aren't told when. For us, we know we'll be able to add it, we aren't worried about it considering it's only August.

They've been saying that for a few months.

My guess is that the contract isn't finalized for next year.

We have had the same response as everyone else it seems. We contacted DCL over the weekend via email to add this to our cruise in the beginning of February but got told that “2024 transfers have not been released as of yet”.

Have they had a history of this happening? We booked a cruise last year at the same time and were able to add ground transfers no issue.

I was told by DCL that transportation for our May 2024 Dream out of Ft Lauderdale wasn’t able to be booked yet and to try back later this year. Seeing as how those cruises from Ft L don’t start until November 2023 they evidently still don’t have it worked out yet.

What I hear from your responses is “expect the price to go up with next year’s contracts. We don’t want to honor the old price listed when you signed up months ahead of time.”

If you are sailing out of FLL, you should have options that may be cheaper than Disney. Your hotel will probably be within 15 minutes (often less) of the port. And probably no cute Disney buses, as they can’t be utilized for the resorts or other Disney functions, like the ones in Orlando. I expect it to be contracted, as is now the case in Orlando (?)
