Adding Genie+ to my reservation

I am trying to add Genie+ to my reservation on the app but I purchased my tickets separate from my resort reservation and it won't let me. I have the tickets linked on my app. Is there any other way to add it ahead of time?

Use a desktop and login to MDE. I was able to upgrade my tickets there.

I'm having issues with MDE not being able to find any of my plans today, so maybe it's just glitchy this morning?

I found it when I clicked on my tickets there is a link underneath it that says "change tickets" and when i clicked through i found the option to add genie+

Just looked at this, where is the option to only do it for a day? I see how to add for the entire trip

You can only add it for the entire trip. If you want to purchase an individual day you have to do so after midnight on the day-of purchase

Think of it this way. Do you really trust Disney IT to be able to handle you being able to select the G+ days? Then what if people changed their park days? The way it is now simplifies things for Disney. When it checks to see if you have G+ for that day, it only has to see if it was bought Today, or is it on the tickets.
