so two of my friends have booked a 9 night disney hotel with the park tickets as well. i have been told that even though they have the package booked, two other people can still stay in their room if they want for 10-13 dollars a night. (and without park tickets). is this true????

It's been my understanding that if they booked a package, then everyone in the same room would need to be on the same package. At least that's the way it was in the past...

I was told by a Disney travel CM that another could stay in the room for a small fee 10-15 if they are an adult and the room requirements haven't been met. I am going in April and have 2 adults and 1 child. I am allowed to have a child stay at no extra cost but another adult would need to pay the fee b/c there are already 2 adults in the room.

Actually, the extra adult fees vary according to the level of resort. In the Values, the fee is $10 per additional adult (over two) per night. In the moderates it's $15, and in the deluxe resorts the fee is $25.

Also, I looked up the rules for the 2009 Magic Your Way packages, and they state "Everyone in the room must be on the same package and ticket options." So if the OP's friends are staying on a MYW package, then the extra adults would need to be on the same package. If they are staying on a "room-only" reservation and buying the tickets separately, then only the extra adult fees would apply.
