Adding Family to Contract

DH and I have a BWV contract closing on 8/31/08. Right now we are the only 2 on the contract, but I'm wondering if I should add my husbands parents onto the contract. They are huge Disney fans like us. This way they can get all the DVC discounts and if anything ever happened to us it would go directly to them. Has anyone ever done this and found it to work well? Are there any drawbacks to adding extended family members? We still have a month and half until closing, but already went through ROFR with Disney, could we get these additional changes made still?

The contract is fair game for creditors for each and every person on the contract. If they had any issues, someone could take your contract from you. IMO, it depends on how many points, the situation including financial and how well you get along. Other family members may be a consideration as well.

If you are the ones paying for it - I wouldn't - too many issues involved.
