adding DP and tix to room key?

Hi. I just saw a post that you can add your undercover tourist disney tickets to your resort key and now I have a question about the dining plan as well. We will be at the campgrounds in Nov. I want to get my tickets from UT or another legit/cheaper option and add them to our key but can I add the dining plan when we arrive and have that added to the key or do I need to do it in advance? Or do you have to buy your tickets at disney to buy the dining plan?

Any veteran/CM advice appreciated!

You may be able to add you tickets to your KTTW card, but the dining plan requires that you have a MYW package (room & tickets through Disney) And you have to do it at least 72 hours in advance.

So to answer your question - you cannot buy the dining plan at the campground with undercover tourist (or any other discount) tickets.

To get the dining plan, you must have a package reservation including a room reservation plus at least a one-day base park ticket for everyone on the reservation. So you could not go solely with tickets from a discount outlet and still get the dining plan.

You cannot make any changes to a package reservation less than 72 hours from arrival, so you could not add the dining plan when you check in.
