Adding Disney Dining later...

Can you stand another Disney Dining question??

Can I add the Disney Dining Package to my room and ticket ressie any time before I leave in Nov??

I am still on the fence about the price for us but would like the option of adding it before we head down...and not changing my whole ressie

I added Disney Dining AFTER my main reservations; however, this was back in February.

I am sure that they will let you add on the paid dining plan up until you check in. But, the longer you wait, the less time you have for ADRs. You may not be a big planner and just want the comfort of having your food prepaid, which is fine. However, if you have your heart set up eating at certain places and want to know for sure that you can get them, you need ADRS, IMO.

I added the dining plan one month before our arrival. I did all of my ADRs 90 days out, but I wasn't sure if we wanted to do the dining plan. Once we decided I called and added it to my package. I needed to pay for all of it upon addiing since I was pass my 45 day mark. Boy were we glad we added it to the package. It made things so much easier....

I think I read somewhere that you have to add the dining by calling AT LEAST 48 hours before you arrive. Can't remember where I read that, and the rules on dining seem to change all the time.

I would call and ask CRO how long before you arrive you must add the dining package under the current rules.

I think the cost is well worth it...and the freedom to have anything you want at so many restrauts is a huge treat. We just went for 9 nights and ate around $2000 worth of food. We figured eating cheaply (and who can handle that much grease?) it would of been close to the $105 is cost a day for our family for food.
