Adding days to tickets bought pre-price-increase

I've got what should be a simple question, but all sorts of searches haven't answered it. I'm hoping someone here can give me a definitive answer.

We bought 6 day tickets (online directly from Disney) early this year when we planned our trip. Since then, ticket prices have increased. We are now trying to figure out how to get to DHS one additional night, and were considering either adding a day or adding park hopping.

The question is whether the cost to upgrade the ticket is the difference from the price we paid early this year (pre-price-increase) or the difference from the current cost of the same ticket. For example, we paid $325 per adult and $305 per child for our 6-day tickets in February. The current cost of those same 6-day tickets is $355 and $335. For a 7-day ticket, the current cost is $370 and $350. If we were to add a day, would we be paying $45 more per ticket, or $15 more per ticket? Would it matter at all if we upgraded before or after we had used a day on the tickets?

1. No price-bridging on tickets ordered directly from Disney.
2. The price between what you originally paid and the current price.
I didn't check your numbers, but $45 looks about right.
3. Nope. No difference.

BTW, if (IF) you find a ticket CM who is very kind you might (MIGHT) get a price deal.
You can always ask nicely.

Thanks for the quick reply, even though it's not what I hoped to hear. We aren't going to pay $200 just to see the fireworks... I guess we can check whether a nice CM might do it for us once we're there, but I won't plan on it.
