Adding Days to Park Tickets

I found out that I can save about $200 if I buy my park tickets through work rather than directly from Disney BUT, the tickets are for 10 days and for our next trip we will need 12 day tickets. Does anyone know if I purchase the 10 day tickets and add them to My Disney Experience, can I add 2 days to my tickets? I know I could add the days once we get to Disney but for FP purposes, I would need to add them before my trip.

The longest park ticket Disney sells, at least in the US, is 10 days. So you would have to buy separate 2-day passes. Have you priced out an AP?

I didn't even realize tickets only go up to 10 days. I'll look into an AP. Thanks!!

If you have friends or family in the UK you could always get 14 day Ultimate tickets and have them mailed to them then forwarded to you. That would still be cheaper than APs or 10+2 day tickets. Or, you could always drop 2 park days and hit up some water parks/resort amenities.

I don't think I could go to the parks every day for 12 days in a vacation. Are you sure you're going to want to go every day of your trip? I'd really recommend taking a couple of days off to sleep in, hang out at your resort, or check out some of the activities at other resorts. Fort Wilderness has horseback riding, archery, and a campfire sing-a-long with Chip & Dale. POR has surrey bikes you can rent. Most of the deluxe resorts has personal watercraft for rent.

We usually go on 7-8 day trips (parks every day) so I was thinking of maybe having 5 park days then 1 day break and then 6 more park days during the 12 day trip. DH wants to buy tickets for all days so we have the option of going to the parks if we want to.

If we plan our 2017 trip before March 2017 then the AP would be worth it... I guess it's just a numbers game at this point. Thanks to all who have replied!

The waterpark suggestion is something you might want to look into. You could get the 10 day tickets and then upgrade to "water parks and more" and then spend a few days at waterparks which count separately from your 10 day park entrances.

I'm a big fan of the annual pass - you can park hop and you're not stuck with limiting yourself to just one park or no park. You also get merchandise and dining discounts. It may be worth it to investigate the TIW membership too!
