Adding days to my tickets - undo my FP ressies?

We are 32 days out. We have now decided that we want to add one or two more days to the park tickets to give us the opportunity to do more Touring than we originally planned. However, I already have all of our fast passes booked. If I add days to our passes, will this mess up the existing fast pass reservation for the days we have planned?

You shouldn't have any problems. When I went last October, I only had 5 day passes. Since I was staying on site, I was able to book FP+ for all 8 days of my trip ahead of time. Once there, I upgraded the tickets to 8 days at guest relations with no issues to my FP selections. Due to the original type of pass we linked, they had to completely remove the park tickets from our MBs to make the upgrade & then put them back on. So, even with no tickets linked for a short time, our selections stayed.

From what I've been told, your FP selections are linked to your MDE account, not your park ticket. You do have to have a linked park ticket to pre-book FP+, but changing one should not change the other.

No, it won't. It's important to note that adding days must be done in person at any ticketing window or guest services location.

Last week we had 5 day passes and I called on Saturday and had them changed to 6 day passes. I think they said they had to cancel the 5 day and then add 6 day - and I was only charged the difference. But this was prior to me booking my FP+ reservations.

I was planning to call NOW to add another day so I can make another day of FP+ reservations before the 30 day window opens.

We are only on site for 1 night and then offsite. So, my MDE reservations are tied to my available ticket days. Two of us have 9 days available and can book 9 days. Two of us are on the 6 day tickets and can only book 6 days.

I would just fall over if changing the 2 tickets undid the FP+ressies for 2 of us. Already, I see the mid-day FP+s being unavailable on some days. It could create a problem.

I guess all I can do is try. We dont want to wait until we arrive because, by then, we'll be booking those days on FP ressies with the off-site public.
