Adding days to 7/4 dream maker deal?

We are going to add on 2 more additional days to our dream maker deal. Currently our 7/4 deal starts on May 28th-June 4th. We want to actually check in on May 27th (Late evening) and check out June 5th (Early morning) to take FULL advantage of our UPH's....

How would I do that? Would I just reserve a room only for those two nights on a seperate reservation? Will they make me move rooms? I really hope not because that is the reason we are staying the extra nights to get settled in...

We added a room only day on our arrival as we will get to the resort mid-afternoon and did not feel we would make the most of our UPH under the 7 for 4 deal. I am sure you could add a room only for the last day as well, but know that means you will have 3 separate reservations. The CM at CRO told me it is highly likely that we will NOT be moved from our room but that we will have to "check out" under the first reservation and "check back in" under the second reservation. We are staying concierge level so we have alerted them as to our reservation situation in the hopes they can facilitate our staying in one room for the entire length of stay. HTH.......

You can try to use the Visa CTV code or the BBY code that came out a couple weeks ago. I've been trying to add an extra day on to our 7 for 4 pkg. at the Poly but right now there is no availability with those codes, but I'll keep trying. Good luck to you

Adding the extra nights will not take advantage of the UPH because two extra days will be added to the UPH that you will not be using. Your best bet is to check in EARLY the first morning and LATE the last day. Take advantage of the luggage storage available at the resort. We always arrrive well before noon, stash the bags and head for the parks. At the end of the day when we are tired, we arrive at the resort and find our bags delivered to the room. Get up and check out on the last day, hit the parks one last time. When you get back to the resort grab your bags at the front and hop on mears, in your taxi, shuttle, whatever and leave.

Actually it will be an advantage because we would have to arrive late on our first day and depart early on our last day, thus losing almost 2 whole days on our UPH for 7 nights. If we check in a day before then we are fresh and ready to start our Package the next day... and our last day we will have the whole day there because we have a room only rate for our last night. So technically we would benefit from this. We will not have access to the parks the day we check in or the day we check out but that is fine since we will be arriving late and departing early.

We did use the Disney room only code for the extra night.....the first CM we spoke with kept trying to get us to add onto the 7 for 4 package but we felt we really would not be using the UPH for its full worth on our arrival day. Typically we check in, unpack, hang by the pool and decompress from the drive down (with 2 teenagers, a preteen, a 9 month old and assorted luggage and baby stuff crammed into a minivan for 8+ hours.......maybe the kids don't need to chill out but we sure do!).

We have the first 3 days as a room only then the 7/4 package. We will be going to Universal the first couple days so it was a waster to add it to the package. The room only is currently booked as AAA, I'm hoping a code comes out for that time to make it even less.
