We are already booked at BWV for 7/31-8/4. We may (hopefully) will be able to add 7/28-7/31 and are looking at options. since we are unsure and really may not know until the week before we don't want to have to prepay.
Some of the choices we are looking at are: We are a family of 5 and either need 2 rooms or a suite/condo.
1) Stay at POP - higher price but on-site (about double any below)

2) Suites at Old Town - great price available through work. Any info?

3) Hapimag - again great price through work.

4) Buena Vista Suites - great price through this site.

Or is any other suggestions. There are lots of smaller hotels that have great prices ($36-$50/nt) that we can book through dh work. Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.

Also, how much is parking at WDW - this plus cost of gas may swing us to POP.

it cost $9 to park at WDW for the DAY. your parking permit can be used at the other parks on the same day.

vans and bigger vehicle are more.

I would go with the Buena Vista Suites - they are close to WDW and get some nice reviews.

the suites by old town - nothing is coming up on tripadvisior - do you know the full name of this place?

We stayed at Suites at Old Town (formerly Days Suites I think, it was a Days Inn at one point I believe) We were there with a girls bball team, my husband's the coach. this was in 7/2002. I would stay there again with DH and kids, but not w/out DH. It was a little inferior to any of the other places we've been, although I loved having the kitchen and separate bedroom. It was OK for a big group, but gave me a little unsafe feeling. Did I say that nice enough? We were very mislead by the photos. But, we enjoyed going to Old Town..Hope this helps. :hippie:

Most reviews of the old Days Inn Suites are not good. Don't know if the new management team (if it is the same place) did anything to change it.

At POP you'd need 2 rooms for a family of 5- I think this is just too pricey. I think I'd go w/ Buena Vista Suites. It's close, comes w/ breakfast, and it gets pretty good reviews. Don't forget to check out the reviews board found at the top of this forum-- the Buena Vista Suites is reviews there.
