Adding another kid

There may be a chance that we will be watching one of my sons friend for the summer. We already have a trip planned in June and we will be staying at POR.

Is it any problem to show up with 2 adults and 2 kids when the reservation was for only 1 kid?

Also how big is the trundle bed? I can't see the boys wanting to share the regular bed (they are both 15).

From my understanding, the trundle beds are pretty small, so a 15 year old will probably be too big for it.

No problem unless you've booked the meal plan or are using Magical Express, or something along those lines, then you'll want to add the other child in advance. I also agree, there's no way a 15 year old boy is going to sleep comfortably in a trundle unles sh'es quite small for his age. They are only about 5' top to bottom.

As an FYI, I believe there is an extra charge for using it that isn't always imposed. Something you might want to look into.

You might want to keep your eyes open for a code and see if you can't get a room at the AKL and request the bunkbeds as well. At least that way if they need to share a bed, it's a queen instead of a full. If they end up charging you thw $15 night trundle fee, a discounted AKL room might be a better deal!

We looked at the A/P discount for the AKL but just couldn't swing the cost whe there wer only 3 going. Now looking at food expense, airfare for him ($130 more than we paid), food expense, 8 day park hopper tickets, food expense, IOA tickets, food expense we are really trying to scrounge up extra funds (did I remember to mention food expense?).

Oh-well...we love like our own him so whatever sacrifices we need to make are worth it
