adding another day/fastpass question

Am I correct in thinking that if I buy a 7-day ticket now and later decide that I want to add an 8th day, the only way to do that is in the parks (not online anywhere ahead of time) which means that we wouldn't be able to book fastpasses for that 8th day until we're there and have paid to add it on? I hope this makes sense, lol. Thanks!

Correct. If you don't have a package that includes tickets, you'll have to upgrade when you arrive.

If Day #8 will be a Tiered park, book for Day #8 and leave AK or maybe DHS as an open day. When you add on the additional day, book for the open day as soon as possible.

As of now, we are planning to do our last/8th day at Epcot. So book fastpasses for it and leave one of the others open? We're doing 2 days at DHS because we really like several of the attractions there, so does one of those days seem like a good choice? Only doing 1 day at AK.

I feel that would be the best choice. Leave the 2nd DHS day as your open day.

Thank you so much for your advice! I wouldn't have thought of that, I was just thinking it would have to be the actual last day.
