Hi everyone! We will be there in just over a month and are so excited. One of my close friends lives in Florida and has decided to join us for the last 3 days of our 1 week trip. We are a family of 5 and she is also a family of 5. I made our dining reservations 6 months ago, but now that she is coming I would love it if her family could join us. Most of the reservations I have during the portion of the trip she will be there aren't particularly hard to get (Mama Melrose, Tusker House, although we were planning on the Rivers of Light dining package, and the one that is hard to get is O'Hana dinner.) She says it is no big deal if I can't add her family to the reservation, although I really hope I can add them. I've checked and so far no dice. Will I have any better luck if I call vs. searching on the website? Is the website the phone CMs search the same as what we can search on the Disney website ourselves? Just thought maybe if I called a CM might be able to combine our reservation for 5 with another reservation for 5 vs. searching from scratch for a reservation for 10. TIA!

Don't add them. Make a separate reservation for five, in her name, as close to your ADR times as possible. Ask at each restaurant if it's possible to be seated together, or adjacent.
