I have a total of 395 pts(all contacts are direct)and I would like to add my DD to one of my direct small contacts(65pts), as she doesn'twant all of the points. If I pass will she still get the discounts as we do now?

If you add her only to that small contract, it’ll become a new membership with just that 65pts and no extra benefits.

That was my immediate thought but what about if they own contracts from pre-2016 of even after, when the minimum to fully qualify was 25 then 50 pts, etc.

Putting daughter’s name on some but not all contracts will create 2 different memberships. But whatever contract(s) she is added to, you need to go back to the rules in place at the time of original purchase (those terms will stand even after she is added). If it was years ago good chance 65pts would qualify her, which means she could independently use all the perks even when she’s solo.

If you add her on the deed, she will keep full access to everything (assuming you go with a path where the separate membership you create with her fully qualifies, as detailed above).

We set up our membership with our adult kids as:

Joint Tenancy with Right of Survivorship

(JTWROS) in a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) contract ensures that if one owner dies, their ownership interest passes automatically to the surviving owner(s) by operation of law, bypassing probate. This structure requires equal ownership, allows for quick transfer via a death certificate, and is commonly used by spouses or family members to ensure seamless, direct inheritance of the timeshare.

That makes sense and might work.
