Adding AAA discopunt to ressie

Can I call Disney to add the AAA discount to the room portion of my Aug 6-20 vacation, or will I need to re-book through a AAA agent? I had hoped that FD would have started earlier in Aug.. So now it looks like the only discount I can get on our MYW vacation with regular dinning plan is the AAA room portion disc.

If you're getting a room only discount you can do it directly through Disney. But if you want to add dining and tix you need to transfer the ressie to AAA (you'd still only get the AAA discount on the room but from what I understand Disney reservations can't apply the AAA discount with a package).

so if I give a AAA agent my reservation info, they can simply do a transfer??

I've never done this, but from what I understand you have to sign something that gives AAA permission to take over the ressie and then they fax that to Disney and then the ressie is transferred to them.
