Adding a person to a DVC room reservation?

I am renting points for a January trip from another DisBoard member and instead of bothering them, they seem like busy people, I was hoping I can ask you all

On this January trip, I wanted to add a person to the reservation... is this free, or easy to do on the part of the owner? I was just going to do it when I call them to add the DME information, would that be ok?

You can't do anything with the reservation, only the member can. They will have to call MS and add the additional Guest. There isn't an additional fee.

As long as you are still within occupancy limits, it should be no problem for the DVC owner.

I'd just do it with the ME information as long as you're not doing the DDP and/or not over the occupancy limits.

The DVC member who rented you this reservation must be person to add

an additional guest ( and certainly has the right to know this as those

points securing the reservation belong to them ).

If those presently listed on reservation will have DDP then additional

person must also purchase DDP as well and if so this person must be

added to reservation at least 48 hours before check-in date providing adding

this person does not bring your party over occupancy limit for villa that is

reserved.
