Adding a night to our reservation?

Can I call and just have our trip extended by one night? Main reason is because of airfare. Airfare is significantly lower if we fly out the following day instead of the day that I originally booked for. Or do they have to cancel my existing reservation and rebook it? Can they just transfer the money that I have already paid on it to the new reservation? How does the money work since I am still paying on the balance?

As long as your chosen resort is still available, you would be able to call and adjust your dates...they won't have to cancel and rebook. They would simply adjust the dates and you would owe the remainder due.

If there is availability at your resort yes you can add a day to your reservation. You don't have to cancel and re-book. If there isn't an avail room, you may have to book a room-only res. at another WDW resort for the extra night. WDW will take care of transferring your luggage.
Have no idea what time of year your going, so hard to say much more.

Thanks for all the quick replies. I am going to call in the morning and see if I can adjust it. I am staying at POP with free dining and adding one more night will still be about 50$ cheaper than I flew out on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Seems like a nobrainer to me, my 5 night vacation just turned into a 6 night! We probably won't change the length of our tickets because we got the water parks and more and probably will go to the other waterpark we didn't have time to before. Can't wait!!

Keep in mind that if you are booked under a promotion...if the new dates are outside of the promotion dates, you would not get the promotion for those dates outside.
