adding a dining plan

I do not see a link to add a dining plan under my travel plan. Is DVC website having problems or is it my computer? Tried calling member service, but got tired of being on hold.

I think the site is acting up, especially if it's for 2018.

Dining plan has to be added either 48 or 72 hours in advance, so if you're looking out a ways, I'd wait to chat or call. Hurricane traffic to MS is bananas right now.

I haven't been able to cancel a reservation online for the past couple of days, just keep getting an error message. So I think they are using up all of their computer power right now trying to accommodate everyone for the hurricane. If it is a 2018 trip it can wait till after things can clear up. Well al depends on how you "do" the dining plan.

Next year some alcohol is included in the deluxe.

I have a split stay of 5 nights then 4 nights. Does anyone know if they will allow DDP on one reservation and Quick serve on the other reservation. I used to make DDP for just one of the ressies but i heard they make you link them now and do length of stay even with seperate reservations???

If the ressies is not for the same resort and room with same lead guest etc then they won't link them.

If they are for the same resort just call and change the name of the lead guest to your nick name, spouses name or similar.

You can do ddp for one reservation and not for the other or do ddp for both.

If you do the ddp for the first part then and not the last then your mugs will be usable for length of stay.

As long as the reservations stay separate -- you can do what you're asking. As cyber noted, your mugs from first reservation will be good the entire time.

If they haven't already been linked but are the same room type, resort and view type, I'd change the lead guest as suggested. That way you have options with the DP.
