Adding a day

When we go to the Orlando, we typically purchase a length of stay ticket for either the WDW or Universal parks. But hubby and I are heading down the last week of January with the plan of doing Universal with one day at MK. If we decide to add an EPCOT day, does the ticket have to be changed at the park before we leave MK? Or is the savings so minimal that we should just purchase a second single day ticket?

I would price it out as it can be a $20 difference between buying a 1 day vs 2 day. Also I would look at a reliable third party ticket broker as that can save another $10 for 2 day ticket.

If you want to upgrade the 1-day ticket, then yes it must be done before the end of the day you use that ticket. You would then have 3 more calendar days to return for the second park entry. If your 2 days might be more spaced out than that, you'll need to do two separate 1-day tickets.

That's what I thought, but I have never had to do this before. First time for everything, right? ;)
