adding a day to UT hopper tickets

Hello,
We may be adding a day to our Undercover tickets (currently 4 day hopper). I understand that it is best to do this pricewise after the first day WDW has been scanned. I should be paying the difference between a 4 and 5 days based on Disney prices? Is that right? What about the hopper part, is that separate?

Also, is there any way to do this online so I can get FP+ for that day?

I believe it needs to be done in the parks, not online. And park hopping is a flat rate, so just look at the price difference between a 4 day and 5 Day hopper. The difference will be for the extra day, the hopping price does not increase.

2. It's not ALWAYS a flat rate, but it is between a 4-day and a 5-day ticket.

Also, you want to actually USE the ticket to enter a theme park BEFORE doing the upgrade.
