Adding a day to pkg prior to Free Dining?

Hi!

This is probably a simple question, but I would really appreciate the help of the experts!

DH just agreed to add another day at Disney to our trip. This would bring us in the day before free dining starts, which we're fine with. Assuming there is space available at our resort, will I be able to add a day to the current package, or will I need to make a new reservation? I realize we will not have free dining that day.

You will have to make a separate room only reservation. If you don't have annual passes and you want to go to the parks, you will also have to purchase a one day ticket.

Don't forget about the summer code rates. That discount may be cheaper

I was able to get a discount on my room only night that I have booked for Aug 25th.

If they ahve availabilty you can add it on to your plan and get the free dining--providing its not before the free dining starts.

So, mostly success!

I was able to make a 1-night room only reservation, and get it at the AAA rate, which was the same as the summer code rate. I was also able to get a "continuing reservation", so we won't have to move.

My only not so successful moment was trying to book WCC. The earliest availability they had was at 8:30, and that wasn't happening. So, we're going to try Boma! I've always wanted to see AKL, so this should be fun.

I had a 1night booked at POP the day before Free Dining starts, and just added on the BUK coupon, saved $15... between that, the free dining, and the upgrade I got to a 1BR at OKW for free, my trip keeps getting cheaper and cheaper.... Was tempted to use teh BUK code for a studio at OKW, but it would have been $100 more than my POP one night would have been, and still would have had to change rooms since I have a 1BR ressie with the Free dining... All and All, a good code
