Adding a day to park tickets

It's funny to me - Disney has so much technology, yet to add a day to my May park tickets I have to call a number and they put you on hold, been waiting two hours, listening to Disney music. Last time I called, January 3rd, I was disconnected after two hours, called back and was told they were closing at 11, so call at a better time.
You'd think they'd have a better way! I can't add them online, (my only my disney experience, option is transfer tickets) - can't add days to tickets.
I'm shocked there's not a better way! So here I sit, waiting to add a park day to two of our party, so I can schedule park days and reserve a park!
If ANYONE has suggestions - or encouragement lol - it would be much appreciated!

In many cases, guests CAN alter their tickets, themselves, via MDX.

Hard to say why some can and some can't, but their MDX software is notoriously glitchy, in general.

Are you staying on or offsite? If on-site you should be able to go into MDE website, online not the app, and click on change reservation and in there scroll down to tickets and choose it then click change and in there you can add a days tickets. If you are offsite then unfortunately you can only call.
