Adding a day to a 2 day ticket?

I’m coming down soon, and my friend and I are not sure how many days we’ll visit the parks. We know for sure for 2 days, but can you add a day after the first day rather than buying an additional one day ticket?

What if we use the 2 days, wait a day and then decide we want to add one? Since it’s still writhing the allotted time, can we do it then, or is it considered a used up ticket?

It's completely used at that point and you would need to buy another ticket.
