There is me , DH. and DD so far. We have the tickets and free dining. I want to add a child, age 9, to my ressie for Aug.

Is it possible to add her on and get the same tickets and free dining?

And beacuse it is after the 45 days, would we have to pay a fee?:confused3

I think it is possible--- give it a try. Last year we tried to add MIL (she also needed her own room) to our free dining ressie after June 25th (which was the deadline to book for free dining). I knew it wasn't going to happen, but I promised MIL I would try. The CM told me that if she was staying in our room, we would have been able to add her. She tried to get me to move to POR or Poly so we could have a 5th person and she would get the free dining (I wouldn't do it because I just couldn't share a room with MIL in addition to my husband and family)--- but I know it was possible if the person was staying in our room. Good Luck!

I was told by a CM that I could add someone to my Free Dining reservation up to three days prior to arrival.

Definitely call.

I just got off the phone with the Disney CM. They said I can add up to 2 more people because we have a trundle bed. And yes they would get the free dining package. :thumbsup2 I am now trying to change the ADRs for 2 more people just in case my friends want to add a person. They did ask also. So it would be now a party of 9. Well I just hung up I was able to get all but 2 changed. The Liberty Tree Tavern and Cindy Royal Table I could not change.:sad1: I guess I will keep trying for those.:confused3
Thanks everyone.

Thanks for asking the question. I am in reverse. What happens if I drop someone off the ressie? A former BF that I am still great friends with was going to go with us but got transfer'd to NC so he is not able to go. So I added my DD21 to go instead with my DD14 and myself. She is about to start a new job and we are going for a long weekend after Labor day. If I drop her from the ressie I wonder if they will charge me the fee. The room will still have double occupancy since DD14 is considered an adult in the World of Disney (my name for it because she is not considered an adult in my World). If not I will just save the room key for her to use the ticket at another time. I'd rather do that than lose $50.

14 is not an adult when it comes to room charges - only for park admission and for the dining plan. Even if there is only 1 adult in the room - you pay the room rate as if there were 2.

Thanks everyone.

Your problem probably is that a table of 7 can easily be upped to 8....I'm guessing most tables are a 4 seater....so upping it to 8 is easy....but to 9 means a different table configuration.

If your two families don't mind sitting a different tables for those two meals, perhaps try to make two smaller table reservations, that might be easier for them to manage. of course, if sitting together for those meals is important, then you'll have to keep calling and hope someone cancels. Next time you call you might ask about why it's not possible....for instance, if they only have two tables in the whole place that sit 10 or something, then you're probably out of luck, but if it's as I wrote 4 seaters are the most prevalent then you might have a better chance asking for a 4 and a 5 separately.

If not, maybe there are two in your party who don't care if they go to CRT...I know my DH would jump at the chance to opt out of anything Princess, lol. Maybe let the Dad's have a daddy meal together somewhere else?

Good luck!

theparsons, you are correct about the table for 7 being upped to 8 people, that is easy to do. But the 2 that I could not change to 9 people are fully booked for those days. But I did find out that the 9th person is acctually 18 years old, so he can fend for himself if it came down to it. (That kind of sounds mean but I don't mean it that way). I thought it was for a 14 year old, that is why I said I would keep trying. Which I will do anyway. And I do not think he cares about the princess either.

Disneywisher, I would call them and ask. I would think that they would not charge you beacuse you are adding another adult to it anyway.:confused3
Let me know how it goes.

Ok I'm confused. Will I have to pay a fee if I take DD21 off the reservation? I'm 47 days out now. Should I remove her than add her if she is able to get the time off from the new job? Thanks for any help.

You're right 14 is not an adult when it comes to the room. But it only matters on how many adults when its over 2. Right?? LOL I'm totally confused. Technically Disney is losing the ticket price because thats the only difference from 1 adult 1 junior and 2 adults and 1 junior when staying in a 1 room w/ package.
