Hi there - just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.
I have reserved a car with National at a rate I am happy with for our upcoming trip - my girlfriend who is traveling with myself and my daughter has just decided that she doesn't want to "haul" her carseat for her daughter. Can I add a carseat to the rental at the airport? Do I have to go to the counter for this or can I just head out to the garage as always?
Thanks so much! :goodvibes

You would have to take care of this at the counter in the airport.

OP, you can modify your reservation now and add the carseat. I think the price is $9 a day, plus tax. It can get expensive and sometimes the rental price equals the price of buying a new one. You might want to crunch the numbers first to see what type of price you're taking about. Hopefully they got better over the years. We rented one once and it was not very clean. After that we just bring them. They can be checked with luggage for free for most airlines and you don't have to haul them through the airport.
