Adding 2nd person to cabin

Cruising solo but possibly may add people. I've read that it's better to add people to your reservation sooner rather than later even if the additional people are still unsure if they will be able to go due to the possibility of the boat reaching capacity. Are you able to change the names of the additional people on the reservation? Is there a charge or is it free to change as long as it's before the PIF date?

You can change the second person up to 3 days before the cruise. Yes add them right away and cancel them before penalty days, it saves you port fees and taxes for that second person. You are correct, should your life boat fill before you add them they can not be added to your cabin.
