Addicted to VMK!!!

I was more addicted during the summer, but schoolwork has brought my addiciton to a halt.

That may be good or bad, depending how you look at it.

I've been playing a year and oh..3 months. It's addicting.

Well, at least you're sort of doing math in math class :rotfl:

That's the idea, you see. I can't get in trouble for doing what I'm supposed to be doing. But if I were doodling ''I heart VMK'' in my notebooks all day not only would I be embarrassed in my high school setting, but I would probably get a detention ( If I was caught ;) )

As for the waking up and thinking of something VMK-related, the first thing I think of every morning is basically either: ''boy, do I have alot of trades pending; I should get around to completing those'' or ''how many codes from POTC2 can I get in before I have to get to school?''.

I have mixed feelings about this too. One week I played VMK so extensively that I completely forgot about a science project and just remembered about it the night before it was due. I almost pulled an all-nighter; stayed up until 3:30 am or so, and did the project ( got 89% on it by the way :teeth: ). I'm quite proud of my cramming skills, but I try to keep on top of my school work now so that I don't feel guilty when I play VMK. :)

Yup addict here! But only because of all of the GREAT dis people I have encountered and become friends with oh yeah and the pirates oh and the games um and the rides and uh the closings and ...! I cannot believe the withdrawl I am having tonight for missing closing! ARG! Dumbo fridge!

I didnt think i was addicted until i woke at 3 am looking for the graph paper to design a ride for the contest i wasnt going to enter AND a new game room.

Hi my name is Grumpy and i am a VMK addict

Uumm, I've just started playing since Aug this year, and now I'm on it for a bit every day. Is that being addicted? ... lol

Yes. Welcome. Did you get your donut?

Ok im going to tell you a secret Dont tell anyone! One time I was at my dads house and I wanted to play VMK but but but... :( HE HAS A MAC COMPUTER! I cried for 30 minutes straight.

No worse than any of us here at VMK anonymous. Its a sad, sad thing our addiction :sad2:

During the summer when I used to spend about 13 hours on VMK (two hours to eat, etc) my parents thought I had a serious problem, and actually they still do.

First they tried unplugging some cord that hooks the computer up to the internet, but I figured that one out within a day. Then they tried making it so that I couldn't access the internet unless I was on the administrators account; I just payed my older sister to tell me the password.

Its gotten to the point where my dad has put a lock on sites not on my ''approved sites list''. I have already figured that one out though, I just gave my dad the silent treatment for two days until he finally typed in the password for me ''just this once'' onto DIS and VMKpal. Of course he didn't check to see that I hadn't marked the little box to say ''always allow this site to be viewed/add to approved sites list''. :teeth:

I sure can be a tricky one ;)

Sorry. This is a VA Meeting. We only have plain and powdered. And we'd appreciate it if you could put some change in the kitty for the next meeting... Thanks.
