This is sort of a random topic but I seem to be addicted to the baked potatoes at Troubadour Tavern. I don't know why. It's just a potato! :rotfl2: But I keep thinking about them and wondering when I can go get another one! They're also one of the best bargains in the park, imo ($6.29!). I like to get the one with BBQ chicken on it so that it's a whole meal with chicken and potatoes. Yum! :cool1: Hmmmm..... can you tell it's almost lunch time?

Hmmm... that seems like an odd thing because I can make one at home. Might have to try it though. The chicken one does sound good. If you would rather go there on Wed, we can do that. I wouldn't want to deny you your potato! :)

That is something I am definitely going to have to try next month, I love baked potatoes. Have you tried the corn yet? If so, is it good?

I know, I can make it at home too but it wouldn't be the same. We can still go to the mexican place. Don't worry about denying me my potato. :rotfl: But you guys should try it. Oooh, you should go eat there for lunch on your WOC day since it would be a smaller meal. That's what DH and I did. We were late eating lunch on our WOC day and with a 5pm PS at Ariels we decided to just split a potato which worked out good. It's also sort of entertaining to watch people trying to peek over the fence at PFF to see the princesses. One time Peter Pan ran over and was peeking over too.

Has anyone posted pics of these potatoes? I'd love to see them!

Oh, no pictures from me. I'm always too busy digging in. :rotfl2: Actually, i think OC Tony has one on his Culinary Quest review.

I haven't tried the corn. It's over $4!!! For corn!! I would like to try it but the cheapskate in me won't let me spend that much on corn. I just can't get past the price. :rotfl:

I love baked potatoes and that potato looks fantastic - thanks for the tip. I'll have to put it on the must eat list for our December trip.

This is the second time I heard of this "Baked Potatoe" being delicious, guess i'm going to have to eat all 3 of them on my trip over there sometime. :D

I would have never thought to eat there! I am one of those who would venture up there for a bathroom, nothing else.

I see a baked potato in my future!

Thank you for posting this. I have a son so we've never ventured around that area, but we both LOVE baked potatoes. That chicken one looks yummy :)

Oh, we can try it. We all like potatoes, and since it isn't going to be 100 degree weather, having something warm won't be bad. I was only trying to think of something with good seating that would be an easy place for DN, but this looks good.

Is it usually crowded or uncrowded?

Well, how about we just see what everone feels like eating and keep those 2 places in mind. That way you can feel free to eat at either place before wednesday if that's what you guys feel like and then we can decide based on that. So if you start craving that potato on Monday and end up eating there we can go somewhere else on wednesday.

We haven't seen it too crowded over there. There's not as many tables as at the mexican place but we've never had trouble finding a spot.

I wanted to get one last trip, but it was closed :( and the CMs I asked had no clue there even was a place

Just let them sit for a few minutes before you dig in. My experience is that the butter and/or sour cream is so cold that it is unpleasant, unless you give the potato time to warm it up. Maybe stir in the ingredients for a minute or two before you partake.

After that, very tasty!

make sure you plan on eating there. they do not have any togo containers...i already paid and found out the hardway. she said that i could carry them on the wax paper..uh nooooo!!! she did put them in the kids meal box so i can carry them but then all the cheese and butter started melting and the box became really soft.

Oh no! Hopefully it's open again now.

I always get the one with BBQ chicken so cold butter and sour cream haven't been an issue but good tip.

Good to know. We've always just eaten them at the tables right there but now i know not to try to take them to go.

Also, fyi, they don't have tap water there for some reason. They offered us cups of ice so we just took that and put some of our bottled water into the cup.

Where is DL is this place located? I have not heard of it. However, it sounds delicious and is on my next DL must stops.
