Added on points at BLT

Hey all. I am down here at AKV. Been here since Sunday and leaving tonight at 6. Had a wonderful time. I saw my guide when I was here on Thursday and he was at BLT for the day. Gave us a tour and the whole thing incl. Fastpasses.

Added on 100 points at BLT and I am excited but I have one nagging thought......is anyone concerned about the birds in the back of the building and on the roof and balconies. Kinda creepy.

The bigger issue with the birds is that they crap all over the lake view balconies.

Just posting to say Congrats!!! I can't wait until we can add on. We are new to DVC and haven't stayed at BLT yet so I have no knowledge of the birds.

Congratulations! We added on 30 points when we got home from our early August trip.

We did it so we can always do 5 nights in the summer in a 1 bedroom and then either an every other year fall trip.

Or, if one of my college age children want to come with friends during the summer trip, I have enough to get them a studio along with our 1 bedroom for those 5 nights.

It will be great!!!

Congrats! Maybe I should ask my guide for some FP. We did a 120 point add on 2 weeks ago and still have 38 days before our next trip......

Congratulations on your new addition!

I have been wondering about the bird crap on the balconies too. Is it only on the lakeview side? That is one of my pet peeves -- I will get really grossed out if I see that.

Thanks all. From what I was told, they are only in the back, LV side. And from what I seen, the same. They are huddled in the back near the lake on the grass. When we went to the TOP and looked they were on the roof. We were able to view a Grand Villa. OMG. Sweet.


My sister noticed some statues on the top. I guess to scare them away? Not going to happen. Looked like they were all good friends.

It didn't deter me from buying. I just hope they can find a solution to the situation.
